COD5 master server down? |

I can not get online since about 2.30 PM CET (08.30 AM EST) today!
Two friends here in Holland who I was gaming online with, had the same problem. The server is still down as I write this post (05.00 PM CET).

Amok, I had the same problem.
Here is how you fix it: Download the new patch & save it to your desktop.
After that you need to Uninstall the ENTIRE game. Than, reinstall game. BEFORE PLAYING after install, run the patch you you saved to desktop.
You should be fine after that my brother!!

NEVERMIND.
It appears as if the COD5 Master server is down. It will NOT let me play online either  .
This reminds me of Steam. Whenever a Steam server goes down, it can't check if you are playing with a valid copy of the game.  So, it blocks you from playing any online gaming w/ Steam games.
I hope they resolve this issue soon. It sucks to pay $$$ for a game when you can't even fire it up on the weekend .

Reinstalling the game will not fix this.the master server will be back sometime

I realized the error of my ways after I tried to connect. I didn't realize the Master Server was down. I thought he was having the same problem I did when I 1st got the game.
I'm glad Amok is a Spamaholic & saw my post warning him NOT to reinstall  .
Sorry for the bad advice everyone.
