Server 3 Capture The Flag Only Night

I would like to plan an all CTF night on server 3 with divided teams on vent.

We may lock the server down with password for maybe 5 maps and get at least a 12 on 12 match going.

This is open to regulars as well not just uZa.

So far as maps we have "scorpius", "dock assualt" and we'll see if "tangeriem" works on ctf.

I'm thinking about this Friday starting at 7:00 pm central time. Or should we start at 8:00 pm central??

I am in as long as I do not have to work. CTF is the only thing I play nowadays. TDM has really lost it's shine for me.

Well Friday 8pm EST (7pm Central) or 9pm EST(8pm Central) is fine for me...That is, unless something pops up...Hopefully something won't, but worst case scenario...

But I'll be there if I can, so save a slot for me.

OK......let's make it for a Saturday evening.......at around 8PM central time.

We can go as high as 15 on each team, Gomer and I will lock the server down for those 5 maps and PM everyone with the password -OR- should we just leave it open for any and all to play ??

I'm for locking it down as this will allow us to keep the same teams throughout the maps plus this avoids people joining and leaving and messing with the balance of teams.

Obviously we can't have un-balanced teams either so any suggestions on doing that? I mean Bogey, Gomer and Spartan on the same team just wouldn't be cool....unless they agree to play blindfolded Smile

So we need to create fair and balanced teams to get the most fun out of this.....OR we could just auto-assign and let the cards fall where they may?

Also we only have 2 maps at present as Tangeriem doesn't support CTF. We have the maps Scorpius and Dock Assualt and both maps rock for CTF.

I'm thinking of two maps by Grimm, Compound 2 and The Charge and one by Dupont but can't think of the name of it at the moment. Gomer and I will load up a few maps tonight and try them out.
