I bet that guy at the beginning got high his whole life.

saw this when it came out. never tried it, but i firmly believe it should be as legal as alcohol. look... in the US, 3 J's can get you a felony conviction 1st offense... but a prescribed bottle of Oxycontin is just fine. I could have my life ruined (lose my nursing license, go to jail, pay thousands in court costs and fines) for a day's worth of purple haze... but I could go to the (State controlled and operated) liquor store and buy 15 cases of liquor and no one would say a word.

the money we waste on prosecuting M.J. "crime" is incredible.

1. legalize it, and tax the h3ll out of it.
2. grow it here in the US with American workers and keep the money in America.
3. let States/Communities legislate their own rules for it's use.
4. stop destroying peoples lives for a burning plant.

people say it's a gateway drug... but there is no way anyone is going to risk "experimenting" with illegal harder stuff when the Chronic is readily available at the store (provided one is of age).

use some of the tax revenue for treatment and education about the dangers of using just like they do with alcohol.

IMO, this is just like all the other arcane "blue laws" that ultra right wingers want kept on the books for "morality" (when we all know that the harder these idiots rail against it, the more illicit their abuse of it is.
