I honestly think they should keep the game part as it is and throw a whole new UI on top of it.
Have you checked out the buddy system in there? It's a joke. As is the way the player names are done.

Good question, I can't either. The naming of the player really does suk!! For instance, I only use 1 name {uZa}Spazz, it tells me that name is already taken, now how does that happen? I have to name myself {uZa}Spazz1. Someone needs to find that thief and kick his arse.

| there is no option where you can go two a direct ip from what i have seen but i think there will be one when the patch comes out !!!!

To connect directly via IP:
Hit "F10" to bring down the console.
Type "open xxx.xxx.xxx.xxx:xxxx" and hit enter.

Couldn't agree more! They ported the UI from the console. WTF were they thinking?!?!?!
