I bought a new Dell (had to, old system died, couldn't beat the price)... ALL new computers come with Vista, so no choice there either...
What I don't understand is this: Anything less than 2G of RAM and Vista runs slow, so why do new machines only come with 1G??? Also, most new machines have 64-bit processors, but they all come with one version of Vista 32-bit or another... I'm thinking that all new 64-bit machines should be required to come with 64-bit Vista Ultimate, and at least 4G of RAM...
Just my opinion...
