Who created God? Because if someone/something created Him, who created that person/thing? And so on...Therefore, just stating "God exists and always will exist and always has exists" covers that.

If you have read the Bible at all, then you'd know that God loves everyone, even the evilest of people, and will save you only if you believe. To be honest, if the terrorists of 9/11 were really truly sorry for what they were doing, even just before hitting the towers, and asked for God's forgiveness, then I truly believe that He would forgive them and allow them into Heaven.

You misunderstood my point. MAN uses religion to create fear among people. This has been happening since the beginning of spiritual beliefs and still goes on today.
But since you bring it up, you mentioned that if I "read the Bible at all" I would understand. Which in turn means that you are stating only the Bible is correct about GOD and not other religion's scriptures. So again I hope I choose the right religion!

1) I understand that man uses religion to create fear. But if you truly looked beneath the surface, you'd realise that you don't need to live in fear.
2) There are 2 reasons I said "if you read the Bible at all" are because 1. I'm a Catholic. I can't speak for other religion's religious texts. and 2. Isn't the whole story about God creating the world and man in the Bible? It's also in the Torah, yes, but that is the same as the Old Testament in the Bible, so therefor saying "the Bible" would also implement the Torah, though I never actually wrote it.

Contemplation of ones existence, and purpose of existence thereof generated this question originally. Probably driving the initial thought thinker (s) insane with possibilities.
By definition Faith, and Reality are two distinct things. Separated, in this particular instance from one another only by belief in one doctrine or another. A personal choice, governed by free will.
The argument, discussion if you will, of creationism vs. evolutionism
should always be muted by the unanswerable questions (in no particular order) of
A: where did god come from?, and so one and so forth..
B: where did big bang material come from? and so on and so forth?
It is merely a matter of belief, in which no one should be labeled right, as no one should be labled wrong. This question will never be answered on the basis of religion versus science. Once again the question has always been "where did we come from, why are we here".

Can we truly understand God?
It may be possible that we can not truly understand God. According to the Bible God is four dimensional. We are three dimensional. We sense two dimensions and perceive the third. It is not possible to comprehend a fourth so let’s look the other way. If I were to let two dimensional beings see me for example. I could put my arm thru their plane. They would say I am a circle. If I pulled my arm back and left my fingers and thumb thru their plane. They would now argue that I am not a circle, but am actually five circles in one being. They are not even close to understanding what I am. We can discuss what God is, but we only have a limited understanding. Are all denominations or religions wrong? Maybe or maybe not! Yes I was one circle and yes I was five circles in one being. Why argue that I am only one or five? Some times the different religions are because of our limited understanding. I believe that Jesus Christ is the saviour and the only way to heaven. I don’t think I need to push this on anyone. If you truly seek God, then God will not hide. God will lead you to the truth if you pursue it. I’m always willing to share what I believe or point in what I believe to be the correct direction, but only you can seek God for your own sake. One could point to the same thing with evolutionists, which evolutionary theory is correct? Only the one most widely excepted. Or only the one that someday science will have narrowed down? Come on, every door science opens leads to several more! This universe is amazing and we can come up with theories for a long time to come.

So what does God say about evolutionists/atheists?
“The fool hath said in his heart there is no God.”
-This implies to know there is a God must be somewhat obvious.
“Knowing this first, that there shall come in the last days scoffers, walking after their own lusts, and saying, where is the promise of his coming?”……For this they willingly are ignorant of, that by God the heavens were of old, and the earth standing out of the water and in the water: Whereby the world that then was, being overflowed with water, perished”
-The last days will have scoffers of God and his creation? Yes we definitely have those. I stated in earlier post some of the reasons why evolution is so widely accepted, but yet some people who have only been taught evolution still believe there must or may be a God. I guess if creationism had the millions of dollars for study that evolution has, it might have a little more prestige. Note walking after there own lusts. Maybe evolutionists scoff God because they do fear a judgment. Note the willingly are ignorant of…. Maybe there is a relief of fear from thinking there is no God, so they do not want to hear another view. By God the heavens were of old! What, not by time? The earth standing in the water and out of the water, you should hear the creationist theory of what this means. It’s very interesting! And oh yes the flood, evolutionist are willingly ignorant of any possibility that this happened? Again why think that there is a God that does judge? There is a false peace in the belief of no God for those that fear him. Yes mountains could have formed from moving plates, but maybe there are other ways too. Can’t prove or disprove either way. Oops! I forgot some are willingly not wanting to hear another view.
Science is observable and repeatable. We can observe and repeat things that could prove to have happened in the past. Yet we can’t observe the past. What if other theories exist that can be tested that may have happened too. Yet we can’t go back and see which one was correct. Yes we can look at evidence of the past, but what if there is more than one way to interpret the evidence. We cannot prove either one. Should we just go with the one that the majority believes? Should we only believe the one that is taught to most people? This is part of the reason I say it takes faith to believe in God or evolution. There is a point where science becomes faith when discussing origins.

I know I may sound like a broken record here but again this comes down to Truth and it being Absolute.
To further explain this let's have a party and invite a Buddhist, a Hindu, an agnostic, atheist, Mormon, Jehovah Witness, pagan and a Christian. We're serving a pie called "Truth" and each person is served a piece of Truth for each claims to have the Truth. How though is this possible if the very nature of Truth is exclusive and not all inclusive?
Obviously not all can have Truth for each version of Truth varies greatly. Buddhism and Hinduism are very attractive for so many people today because they both claim to be "all inclusive", much like Unitarian christians. This sure sounds great but when pressed it fails. If I go to my local Buddhist temple and ask if I can join in they would welcome me with open arms and after the study is over I will ask them this, "Can I be a Buddhist?" They would reply with a positive YES!, "Anyone can follow Buddhism, there is no special requirement for one to follow Buddhism" they would state. I would then tell them that I am a Christian and I would like to hold to my Christian tenets, doctrines and beliefs. Suddenly the "all inclusive" Buddhist isn't so all inclusive for I could not claim to follow the Buddhist ways while holding to Christian beliefs. Buddhism, Hinduism and Unitarians will accept all people as long as they believe as they do.
These hold to truth being relative and not absolute but what they fail to grasp is that no one can live by relative truth for one second. If someone states that truth is relative, not absolute, has in that very statement contradicted themselves and no world view can stand when its founding principles contradict.
The mantra for relativists is:
"What's true for you may not be what's true or right for me" This sounds neat and cool until one thinks about it.
My reply:
"If you hold to the above statement then I claim you're wrong and you must agree with me" Everyone I have ever debated this with has come back with...."No, I'm not wrong, you're wrong!" Do you see what just happened? First they make the claim that what's right or wrong for them may not be what's right or wrong for me which is fine but if it is RIGHT for me to claim they are wrong they cannot disagree with me for then they are stating that I am in fact WRONG. Suddenly truth is no longer relative but has become Absolute for I am, to them, "Absolutely wrong".
Also, if truth is relative, as relativists claim, then they believe that all people everywhere should hold to this at all times thus it then becomes an Absolute. Again relativisim cannot stand as a world view for it contradicts itself and falls into skepticism.
A Hindu is a Hindu because they have adopted that belief system. An atheist cannot seek to become a Hindu and yet also deny the supernatural for the Hindu believes in over 2 million different gods. So EVERY belief is "exclusive" no matter how they seek to sugar coat it. People come down on Christians though because it is the only belief system with a warning, with an ultimatum if you will. The ONLY thing in life that is totally "all inclusive" is death! We shall all experience death and this brings about the question of, "Is this all there is? Am I just a cosmic accident brought together by random chance and time and death then is the end?"
So while it is true that man has perverted God and the Scriptures to his own gain it can only be blamed on man and not God. Let's say that God is real and that His word in the form of Scripture is true. Let's also say that I come to all of you and say that God commands me to tell all of you that I am your prophet. I shall receive from you a portion of your income, to be blessed your wives must be shared with me and my word is like that of Gods. To believe me without question is YOUR FAULT, not Gods for in His Word God warns us of such people, people doing these things, false prophets and false witnesses. Scripture commends those who search the Scriptures to see if what a prophet has said is correct. If people blindly follow the blind then both shall fall in the ditch.
Christ came and said, "I Am THE way, the truth......." Buddha and many others came along and said......"I know of A way........" Christ made an exclusive claim to being Truth, the very author of Truth.

I myself accepted Christ as my Saviour at about the age of five. I went to a church for the first few years of my life. One day I was thinking about what I was learning at church and told my Mom I needed to be saved. I then told her I know what to do. I knelt down with my Mom on the living room floor and asked Jesus to forgive me for my sins and be my Saviour. My family quit going to church shortly after that.
Then in my early teenage years I began going to several different kinds of churches with friends and their families. This continued for several years. I would like to add these were also some of my worst years as far as sinning was concerned. I really only went to church to be with my friends. I won’t mention names, but they were just as evil as me.
In high school I began studying evolution with a little more deeper impact. I was becoming confused. I never discussed this with anyone, but God. I started praying for the first time in years. Not including the occasional grace over holiday meals or when someone picked me to pray at church. I prayed that God would help me to understand. I would tell God that evolution made sense and that I really was beginning to understand it and felt my prayers were just sounds for my walls to echo. Yet deep inside I still believed there was a God and maybe God was hearing me. One day out of the blue, someone gave me a book on creationism. He stated I might find it interesting since I seemed to enjoy animals and nature so much. If not, I could just give it back. Well it was very interesting to learn that creation was still possible. This began a turning point in my faith. One day in my bedroom I knelt down and again asked Jesus Christ to be my Saviour. I knew I asked once, but I thought maybe I should make sure. What if I didn’t really mean it when I was younger?
I then began daily reading of my Moms bible; it was the one on the shelf collecting dust. I also began to actually pay attention at the several different churches I attended with friends. Everything is fine and dandy now right? Nooooooo! Now I was beginning to find myself in even more turmoil. Some churches taught you could loose your salvation. Some taught that I should use bible X or Y or Z only. There was also this sin thing that was really getting heavy. I was now getting confused again. I started praying that God would show me what church that he wanted me to attend. What Bible version did God want me to read. Am I still saved today, cause I still have this big sin problem. Then one day I decided to go to a Baptist church that was real close to my house. I attended this church very sporadically. Then God began to answer my prayers and delt with my heart. I finally was convicted by God to go to this Baptist church, read the KJV of the Bible, and yes I was saved the first time I asked. After God had revealed this to me, I have never given any of those question another consideration. Do I believe that everyone should read KJV of Bible, go to a Baptist church, and this is the only true religion? Well, who cares what I think? Everyone needs to go to God and get his leading and not mine. Yet I will share what I believe is the right path, but you need to decide. It’s really between you and God. My faith is in:
“For all have sinned and come short of the glory of God” “As it is written, there is none righteous, no, not one”
-Sure sounds like me!
“For the wages of sin is death” “The soul that sinneth, it shall die” “And death and hell were cast into the lake of fire. This is the second death”
-I agree, I deserve to die physically and to go to hell. I don’t think anyone else deserves it. I can see why God loves others, but why me?
“but the gift of God is eternal life through Jesus Christ out Lord” “For he (God the father) hath made him (Jesus Christ) to be sin for us, who knew no sin; that we might be made the righteousness of God in him”
-A gift, wow gifts are free! And I do have a sin problem; I sure could use some of Gods righteousness!
“That if thou shalt confess with thy mouth the Lord Jesus, and shalt believe in thine heart that God hath raised him from the dead, thou shalt be saved. For with the heart man believeth unto righteousness, and with the mouth confession is made unto salvation. For whosoever shall call upon the name of the Lord shall be saved”
-Yes, God I confess that I am a sinner. I deserve death and hell. I believe Jesus Christ died for my sins. Please save me. I except Jesus Christ as my Saviour.
That’s my story and I’m sticking to it. If you don’t agree, that’s fine. It’s really between you and God, and not you and me. That is to say if there is a God?????

Hehe, but it's fun to see everyone all riled up! I never mentioned I did or didn't believe but I sure did get some loooonnng posts! What happens with every one of these debates is that the religous folks will end up with one word "faith" and the scientific folks will say "proven scientific methods".
