Lake Jump 2006 |

Just wanted you guys/gals to know that I will be jumping into Lake Michigan on March 25th to raise money for the American Red Cross. The water should be a balmy 36ish degrees. In half an hour of talking to people, I've raised 151.00. There are a lot of peeps around the college that want to see me go in.
Also, I gave blood for the 2nd time today - damn I hate needles!

Nice, what part of the country you in. I live in lansing which is not that far from the lake. If i would have known sooner i could of made a road trip.

Burr..... Soooo cold in lake michigan!!!
Ah Manistee, that is a beautiful town. I have camped near there... Been to Ludington and Traverse City a few times also. 
U get soooo much lake effect snow on that side of the state.

U da man Because I probably wouldn't jump in that during the summer, I don't go outside if I can help it when it's that cold. By the way it was 79 here today

Manistee i very nice, The lake really doesnt get much above 65% during the hotest summer months, he will be fine, in michigan you get use to the cold.
