What game will u be getting in 2-3 months? |

Alright, I'm debating whether or not i'm going i'm going to get Battlefield 2142 or Quake Wars: Enemy Territory. I believe we all are gonna get UT2007 so i'm not putting that up on the choice list. Whatever game I get will be what the majority of the clan decides to get, so please everyone vote on which game you think u want more.
Just for the record, i'm voting Quake Wars as the EA game designers suck balls and do not know how to properly release a game that does not crash and do not see the purpose of dishing out $50 for a defective product

If you're basing ET:QW off of Quake, you're sadly mistaken. TOTALLY different game.
I'm actually planning on getting both (Plus UT2K7 of course) as they both look pretty good to me. There was a few things about Battlefield that bothered me enough that I never got into it but I'm confident that those things will be fixed for this.

Its not QUAKE! well it is, but its BF2 STYLE! with Squads and Jeeps and tanks and planes and everything BF2 has to offer, all stuffed into the PRE-Quake story line. When The Strogg invade earth.
Ill prolly end up getting both. ITs to bad they are going to realase 2 simalair games at the same time, gona be a little competition there.

It's nothing like the original ET either. Go find some trailers and some screenshots since it appears you're not really familiar with this game at all. You might find it interesting.

Freak and Exodus are right, The gameplay is COMPELELY different, and watch the movements and features in the trailer i posted, its a hell of a lot like BF2142 with Quake Graphics and a better developement team.

I have to say the part that most impresses me about ET then 2142 is how its unbalanced. The Strogg and the Marines wont have the same guns with a differnt name. They dont even have the same kit names. or Classes.
The Strogg Tanks/Jeeps/helis/planes all LOOK at Control completly from the Humans.
They didnt change the aperance of the weapon or vechicle and slap a new name on it they completly made a differnt thing.
Expample. I read somewhere the Human heli will fly like a Heli, but the Storgg relies on quick bursts of speed upwards and downwards. Dont have full details.

My vote is ET:QW ... and for the uneducated ... THIS IS NOTHING LIKE QUAKE4.

FYI the last poll between these two games came out even.

Oh well I'm not going to get it, I'm getting BF: 2142...OR ditch the BF series and go for a new series...Nah
