Bullet Sponge's trivia question for the day! |
|
|
A man lives in a cabin in the 1800's and dang near froze the winter before. This yr. he decided to be prepared. He cut down a big tree and took it back to the cabin. He also traded for as many candles as he could get his hands on. He then purchased as many lanterns as he could. With the wood piled by the fireplace, the candles in a corner and the lanterns in another, what did he light first?
RULES: you cannot google the answer, this is to test your brain power, please no cheating.

It didn't say that he bought any matches, how can we assume he had matches. He had traded all he could for burning materials. I just thought he forgot the matches, so he couldn't light anything. Did they have matches in the 1800's? I would have thought they used some kind of flint.
Matches?!
We don't need any matches!
We don't need any stink'n matches!!!
