I had some weird images when I played this map, Dellis and Gomer, this is what I was talking about.

The reason you are getting these images is the creator did not use a ground texture. He used a sky worldspawn texture. This is not a sub for ground. Default the skybox which is what you are seeing reflects light. These settinges are defined when creating your map to compile world lighting and should not be used for a ground. Thats why you are getting the refraction of light beaming through the models. Cool

I think it looks really cool, everyone being somewhat transparent really makes you feel like your in the ghost town.

Or it could be a dx9 thing. From the looks of your SS it looks like Direct X 9. Could have been the map maker didnt code it for Dx9 like he did with 7. BUt i no nothing about maps so disregard the last few sentences Laughing Cool
