Does anyone know if AOL instant messenger keeps chat logs? A friend of mine thinks his wife may be cheating on him.

Well, with the new updates AOL Instant Messenger (AIM) it has to be saved in order to read the convo.
So unless she saves her messages then I don't know how to do it.
There could be ways around this?

Which version of AIM does he have?
If its the newer version you can try opening AIM, click view, and then click show logs. From there, search for the name of the person you want the conversation from and everything ever said will be right there unless it has been deleted or disabled.

I would imagine that it is a newer version. I told him that it probably needed to be saved by the user. I tell him to give it a try Munky.

As long as they haven't been disabled, they should still be there. I hope it helps.
