crowd kills man after car hit girl
nice... minor injuries to the girl, and they beat a passenger in the car, not the driver, to death.
Fired Wal-Mart pharmacist awarded $2M
Why is it that companies still persist in paying women less for the same job? I hope she enjoys every penny... she should have gone for more.
China tops world in CO2 emissions
Finally, a reason to celebrate NOT being #1. not only are they now the biggest gas-bags, but they are also supplying us with countless forgeries of our own products... which also contain high levels of toxic chemicals... yay!
Bush vetoes embryonic stem cell bill
OK, The Pres told Congress he would veto this, and they brought it anyway... another example of our tax dollars at work. Would drafting legislation to greatly increase "non-embryonic" stem cell research have been so hard? And both Repubs and Dems are parading sick people around for their cause while in the meantime, nothing is being done about it. Our government is stoopid.
and finally
Space pioneers wanted for 520-day Mars experiment
6 people, 17 months, 550 cubic meters of living space... My 1st round draft picks for the crew are: Lewis Black, Al Sharpton, Nancy Pelosi, Dennis Leary, Paris Hilton, and Donald Trump. GIVE ME CAMERAS, NASA! LOTS AND LOTS OF CAMERAS!!! Could you imagine the "conversations" taking place?

Big oil companies spared tax hikes
Wow, who saw this coming? Oh wait... everyone. Why tax an industry that's making record profits by bleeding us all dry?

Game maker stands by 'Manhunt 2'
Hmmm... has banning a video game ever stopped it from being successful? Negatory. And if the game maker is determined to tell a specifically gory tale, it should expect some resistance and potential sales impact, anyway. Everyone just shut up, already.
84-year-old man drove 67 years without license
Ahahahahahha!!! What are they going to do... suspend his license? Hey HavingFun, please go give this guy a pat on the back and a kick in the crotch for me. While never receiving a ticket or having a an accident is commendable, he put plenty of people at a financial risk by carrying no insurance.
