No, it is in fact realistic and it's pretty cool, but not for gameplay IMHO

Boy, with a great pair of headphones and a decent sound card, certain people are going to have MAJOR advantages. I'll bet that there is an option to turn it off though.

...how can you tell who the cheaters are?

If the testers think it is a bit too much I very much believe that they will address this. It is made by the original folk so it should have more well, support, tools, etc. I think a large reason why CoD2 failed was the late release of map editing tools.

I think its pretty cool. At least its something different. It will put a new twist on the MP. Unfortunately, It will give people with good sound cards/systems an advantage though. I can also see where it might become annoying.

Of all of the engines I have knowldege of...this one is going to be one of the hardest to hack....couple that with a HUGE number of game settings, I think you guys will be VERY happy with it!! Time will tell

I'm sure the Devs have figured out that they can only have SOME weapons that are capable of shooting through CERTAIN types of materials.
I mean, you know what would happen if I took my M240-G to the average American home? I would cut it off it's foundation with only one reload needed.
Don't be seen, use legit cover, and haul ass.

Struck me as more of an Intelligent conversation actually. Besides, it's even worse when someone cries over someone else crying.
I can assure you guys that there will be an option to turn it off for server admins.
I won't knock it though until I actually try it. Damn that video looks good though!
