So, I ordered another XBox 360 |

All my friends are doing it so why shouldn't I?
I blame it all on PGR4 coming out today. @#$%@#$%@#$
This time I did it right though. Got the HDMI and newer heatsync version, an HD-DVD Player (For when I inevitably get bored of playing games on the XBox, at least I have a reason to keep it this time) and a Wireless adapter so that I don't have to run the ghetto wiring across my ceiling again.
Hell, I may even pick up Halo 3.

We are having issues with our Xbox 360. The game just freezes up after 30 minutes of playing.

When it freezes, does it make a loud screeching sound and the picture becomes distorted?

Freak, great choice. 360's PWN.
Gears of War, Halo 3, and Madden/NCAA '08 are the games to pick up. But especially Halo 3.

No, but when you touch the Xobx it is really hot, don't think it should be that hot.

heheheh I guess you've missed all of my "FPS games on the Console are a waste of time" threads.  I won't be doing any FPS games unless my buds up here at work force me to (Like they're liable to do for Halo 3).

Meh.
Then consider the sports games, RTS games (which play suprisingly VERY well and easy to control), and Barbie Pony Adventures (xD)

No, but when you touch the Xobx it is really hot, don't think it should be that hot. |
They all get really hot. Just make sure you keep it in a well ventilated area. Make sure the power block that is on the cord is kept well ventilated also.
Other than that, you may be on your way to the Red Ring of Death. Luckily, Microsoft will replace it after a simple phone call now.
