Nice story for rememberance sunday |
Every year we have rememberance day on 11th november .This is to commemerate and remember the people who give their lives for our country. We raise funds by selling paper poppies as these were the only things that grew in the fields where so many gave their lives during world war 1.This years fund raising was kicked off by Harry Patch. Who is he I hear you say .Well harry is 109 years old and he is the only surviving brit from world war 1.

109 years old? He deserves a something for reaching that age--AND BEING A WW1 SURVIVOR.
If I knew him, I'd give him something--probably a cookie/biscuit (did I spell that right?) or something else...
