Skip the intro movies on startup |
|
|
From tweakguides.com: "If you want to skip the introductory movies for Call of Duty 2 each time you launch it, there is a simple method for doing this. Go to the icon you use for launching Call of Duty 2 (Singleplayer and/or Multiplayer icons), right-click on it and select Properties. In the Properties box which opens, find the Target line and add a space then "+set com_introplayed 1" (without quotes) to the end of it."
This same trick works for COD 4. Assuming your installation is in the default location, your final Target line (FOR THE MULTIPLAYER ICON) will look like this:
Code: | "C:\Program Files\Activision\Call of Duty 4 - Modern Warfare\iw3mp.exe" +set com_introplayed 1 |
If you feel uncomfortable with these instructions, you might want to avoid trying this.

You can also do it in the config file for COD2... Don't know if it works the same for COD4... Maybe by the end of the month...

That's true. If anyone would rather do it that way and doesn't know how, I can post instructions later.
