Assassin's Creed |

*WARNING: May contain spoilers*
First impressions:
WOW. VERY creative, interesting, and fun.
Run-down of the story:
You play as Altair, master assassin, during 1191 (the Third Crusade).
What to do in the game (in between missions and such):
Explore! The sandbox you play in is HUGE (3 humongous cities with many smaller ones dotting the area).
So far, the assassinations I've done are AWESOME. This game has some of the best graphics I've seen on a console.
Also, those of you Shadow of the Colossus (awesome PS2 game) fans will notice that you can move the camera in cut-scenes (as in SoC), which will allow you to get the best view of the situation.

Got some great reviews and some ok reviews.
I love it!!!! Dosn't really get going untill you reach the city!I can see it would get a little repetitive rescuing peeps around the city and pick pocketing and all that good stuff but i love dropping in killing a few dudes and then running to the roof.Lots of side missions like picking up flags and killing templer knights.For me it will have replay and i can see this game is gonna take up way to much of my time.
8.5 out of 10

Is this something like a game called Theif? I played that game quite a bit and enjoyed it.

You need to know what's going on >_> I thought everyone already knew the story since there's been about 50 interviews with Jade Raymond (spelling?) (she's lead designer or something) and she's told everyone the story tons of time... >_>
And I haven't spoiled anything. You find that stuff out in like 2 minutes.
As for this being similar to Thief, I'd hafta say it is somewhat near it.

i never read all the interviews cause there was no point, i wanted to play the game, but i wanted to play the game and things be new for me, not already expecting oh this is going to happen in the game cause in the interview she said this was here and so on.

Me too I tend to stay away from the story line just read the scores.There is nothing worse than reading somewhere that the ending is crap etc when you have not even installed or started a game.

Well if I've spoiled it, sorry  This is a game review and when I review games I include a run-down of the story up until about 5 minutes into the game.
EDIT: I've added a spoiler tag to the top of the post. I'll start doing so whenever I review games.

Yeah, but it came out November 14 for the Xbox 360 and PS3. Finally the consoles get something before PC!

Consoles usually get things before PC anyway. Gears of War, Halo 1 and 2, Assassins Creed, and no doubt others too.
PC users are always left out
The game does seem good so I will try and avoid ingame footage until I play it on PC
