new office/ new pc desk/ new shotty pics |

ok, finally got the new office set up in the new house. big ass desk...WOOT!
and here's the new shotgun I snagged at the gunshow.
side-note... Bill Guarnere was at the show. I got to speak with him for about 10 minutes. The gun show has a strict "no-cameras" policy, but he autographed my collector's edition of Band of Brothers!
He said he felt sorry for our troops in Iraq, because "They don't know who the enemy is. One day their you enemy, the next day your friend, and the next day their your enemy again. It's no way to have a war. In my day, it was easy... we knew who the bad guys were, and we killed them. I'm not saying it was easy, but it sure was a hell of a lot more simple."
WTF? I think that sums it up nicely. We done, Bill! He seems to be in good health, and still sees some of the other Easy Vets. Lives in North Philly (40 minutes from me), and said Dick Winters is still kicking around at 90 in Hershey (about 1.5 hours from me).

I got my I Am America (And So Can You!) book on my desk too!
Anyways, NICE DESK. That thing is a monster. Like 2x the size of mine O.O
Nice shotty. Looks pretty slick Better take it for a "test" shooting
I've spoken with Bill Guarnere aswell (my grandfather was in Easy towards the end of the war) and he's a great guy You're lucky you got to talk to him, many would kill to have a chat with 'im.
