Ok...I am still trying to figure out Vista..... 
Where do i a save brushes and fonts that I downloaded?

Iusually save all downloads in a sub-folder in the "My Downloads" folder... That way they are easy to find later...
When I extract any add-ons (brushes and fon'ts would fall into that category), I usually extract them into whatever directory that the program they are for requires them to be in...
If the fonts you are downloading are tru-types and you want to use them with multiple programs, the C:\WINDOWS\FONTS would be the best place to store them... Just be sure to shut down and restart your computer... That way you can be sure that windows loads them properly...

The folder should still be the same for Adobe...C:\Program Files\Adobe\Presets\Brushes
There might be a folder in that named Photoshop Only as well, you can put it in there too.
