EvID4226 Patch

After Windows slapped SP2 on XP, it closed the TCIP's half open connection count affecting how well P2P programs would download data. With this patch you can open them back up and enjoy multiple P2P/Bot connections once again, and get your data fast like you should. If you have a cable connection and around 6mb/sec, setting the connections to 50 should be fine.

Some of us might use instant messengers, so I figured i'd post what I think are the best ones to use.

As far as popular mainstream ones, I think ICQ is still the better application for it.

If anyone uses IRC, I would recommend XChat. I found it to be the better platform vs. other popular clients like mIrc.

If you are ever thinking of building a PC to format with a Linux Distro, try some of these:

- Fedora

I think this is one of the better ones to use and most users will be comfortable with it.

- Ubuntu
http://www.ubuntu.com/

Another popular well respected distro, should be very user friendly as well.

Debian and Slackware are popular as well, but might not be suitable for everyones needs.

If you want to run a boot disc from memory of Linux, try Knoppix..
