Hey everyone. Thought I would stop by to give my ol' uZa friends a hello!

Well, I just recently started to pick up photography. I was just looking at things online and looking at pictures of certain things ( get minds out of the gutters ha ha) would just interest me. I like looking at urban / ghetto type photos. I'm in Baltimore right now and where I live is perfect for that kind of stuff.. So I've been taking some photos and I'm learning allot of things on photoshop so I'll be editing allot of these that you see. Let me know what you think. Any comments, or recommendations let me know..

By the way anyone willing to pitch in for my camera fund i'd appreciate it =] lol sike j/k but I am wanting a new camera. Right now my dad feels that this is a phase I'm going through but I don't think it is. But im using his 5.0mp camera that sucks and makes alot of pictures blurry.

i havent eddited these in photoshop except for this

feel free to tell me which ones u like and dont like

also feel free to play with these in photoshop =]
feed back is wanted !!

Cool pics, here are a few tips:

1. Cameras don't make shots blurry, the person moving the camera does... I've seen some really great pics come from cheap $5 disposable drug store cameras... It all depends on the photographer...

2. Taking a steady close-up of a moving train is impossible by hand... Get a decent tri-pod, and use an extremely fast shutter speed... Even most of the older 5.0mp cameras have an adjustment for that... Altho the slow speed does make for the cool "stretched lights" effect...

3. Take whatever pics makes you happy... Or sad... Or angry... Or any other emotion you can think of... Just remember to always respect other people's privacy and property...

4. Don't worry too much about what other people think of your pics... Take 1 photo, show it to 100 strangers... 20 will love it, 20 will like it, 20 will not like it, 20 will hate it, and 20 will wonder why you're showing it to them...

5. Have fun with it... If it gets to be more of an obsession than it is fun, put the camera away for a while...

Great tips Hitech. I would also add to turn off the date stamp if you can. The bright blue is distracting... Laughing Laughing Laughing

The pictures with no definite ending are great for photo manipulation. The first one is a good example of what I mean. Throw in a light source at the end of the tracks and it'll look like it is the sunrise Very Happy

Another effect I like is adding in "fog"...the 7th picture would be good for that.

I might use some of these, if you don't mind Wink

I love your photos!!! Good job. Just keep taking pictures, keep on practicing and having fun. Smile I love looking at other people's photography....each person has their own different and unique way of looking at an object. Smile

I do really like the last picture you did with the effects you added, for me it suites the picture well. Smile

The only tip I can give you is take off the date stamp. Smile

Here is a site I enjoy looking at...

Great job though. Smile
