Video card Questions Again (Sorry) |
|
|
You guys gave me good advise on a video card but I screwed around (due to other obligations) and didn't get the video card. Now Newegg doesnt have it now . I have looked and have narrowed it down to two
1.BFG Tech BFGE73512GT GeForce 7300GT 512MB 128-bit GDDR2 AGP 4X/8X Video Card
2.GIGABYTE GV-N76G256D-RH GeForce 7600GS 256MB 128-bit GDDR2 AGP 8X Video Card
I dont know alot about video cards but it seems the 7600gs is better and cheaper, but the 7300gt has 512mb compared to 256mb. I'm gonna try and get one in the next week or two at newegg and not let this get by. I currently have a radeon x700 so I hope this will be a big improvement on cod2. Just trying to wait to build a new computer in the next year. Thanx for all the help.

Neither. For AGP I would go with a 2600XT. It's only $15-$20 more (less than $100) And most all reviews that I see have beating the 7600GS. Not by a whole lot, but maybe enough in your case for pricing purposes.
Here's a link for price comparisons with the GS ad XT at Newegg.
