PS3 wanted. Need some help.

After I bought my TV, I started putting money aside for a PS3. I mainly want it for the Blu-ray, but there a quite a few titles out/coming out that I want to get my hands on. I've recently noticed this PS3 80 gig bundle that comes with MGS4. I can't seem to find one of these in stock anywhere. If you find a trustable website, please link me to it.

My question is would this be my best bet, or are the other PS3's better? I've heard some say the 60 gigs were the best, but I'm not too knowledgeable on this topic.

Any help will be appreciated.

P.S.- I WILL be getting MGS4 no matter what I end up buying, so keep that in mind.

Yep, the 80 gig is sweet. I got one for my grandson, (hehe). I had to go to the Sony Style Store to get one when they released them on June 12. They didn't sell them anywhere else. It was a special release of those models for the new Metal Gear Solid 4. I had a number and stood in line to get one. You may be able to find one on craigs list and if I hear of any I will let you know. F8

Thanks. I've checked about ten websites, and I haven't had any luck. I'm on auto notify from newegg and I'll keep checking back with the others. This is frustrating.

Good news. Took a trip to town with a list of stores. I started at Bestbuy and they were out. We went right next door to Target and they had two bundles on the shelves. I grabbed one up, found a cheap HDMI cable, and they had a controller for half off. Now I'm just setting this beast up. Iv'e been going through the menus for the past hour or so, but it's beautiful.

I'm loving the ability to get online. It makes downloading that much cooler and easier to get your own themes and backgrounds. I still haven't even played a game and I'm having a blast. Laughing

Hey Munky, I'd be interested in hearing an unbiased opinion on how you like the PS3 compared to the 360 once you get some play time.

Been trying to talk myself into getting one for the bedroom if anything so we can get another Blu-Ray player.

If you got MGS4 i hoped you have played the other ones, cause the story has alot from those ones.
But it is a super fun game.

We are thinking of getting the PS3... Some of the games looks pretty good for it.

We have the Xbox....thinking about the Wii...but would rather spend it on the PS3.
