Can a music file be trimmed? |

I have a few "home made" music files that need trimmed. There is junk voice recording (somone with a big mouth) at the begining of some tracks that I would like to remove and just have the song. Is this even possible to do?
I tried to search for help, but trim or trimmed are not the correct words to look for if it's possible.

I use Audacity. There's a link to it in Eagle's programs thread. Really easy to use. Pretty much select the part you want to delete and then delete.
