Good lord didnt they just release Call of duty World at war? They're pumping out games like crazy

They were already working on this game while the last one was out. It's a very common thing to do in the gaming industry. They normally announce the next game as soon as the first one is out...unless you're Bungie.

I think I am done with "modern" versions of COD. I like World at War better than COD4, and they would have to do something pretty cool to bring me back to the Middle East again.

Well, I'll be looking forward to this game because I do like the modern warfare stuff; It's real fascinating to see the latest in military technology in virtual action (and even real action) and because it's going to be made by Infinity Ward, whom I still like, despite the somewhat disappointment with CoD4. Mainly with the multi-player. I did enjoy the single-player, even thought it was short. I'll be looking more forward to single-player than multi-player with MW2.

I thought the modern warfare was great, I just hated the really long map downloads.
The map downloads turned me against the game, but I did like it better than the old weapons.
I don't know how it will compare to World at War, let's hope it has some co-op or other cool features as well.
