I HAVE BEEN GETTING A ERROR STATING:

KEY CODE IN USE?

ITS WHEN MY COMPUTER GETS A SPIKE AND DISCONNECTS....

THEN CANT GET BACK ON

You may be trying to reconnect before the master server releases your key after you get disconnected... This is a problem with the way cable and dsl companies handle IP addresses... They don't actually assign you one, and it's yours... They assign a block, and when you connect to them, you get the next available number... (If the phone companies did this, you would get a new phone number everytime you hung up from a call)

So now your system got shut down... Takes a while for the cable company to release your old IP from it's IN-USE group, so you get a new one... Now you are trying to log back into your game... Activisions master server still hasn't released your key code that is attached to your old IP addy, and here you are with the same key code but at a different IP...

IN short, just give it a few minutes and then try to reconnect... You have to give activision time to "see you leave", and as flakey as their server has been lately, it could take a short while...
