I am not too happy with the outcome of this SIG....spent almost 3 hours working on it and I think it looks terrible...but nonetheless I figured I would post it and get what feedback I can to see where I went wrong....I really do think I have lost my edge <sigh>

You haven't lost your edge. It looks good.
If I can make one comment though it would be this. The starlet's wings look less lifelike than her body. Don't really know how to discribe it. Her body is so clear and bright and her wings are a little vague in comparison.
Brighten the wings up or soften her body a bit (Not with sledge hammer) and it would be poifect.
