I am getting a warning to activate windows.
Now I am getting a warning that I may be a victimi of of software counterfeiting??

Put the code in from the sticker that came with windows. if you still get a warning just ring Microsoft up, as long as you have the serial they will help you out. |

Thanks Ren.  I think it is to do with new hardware that we installed. I will have to give them a call or try what you said later on today....How did I bring up the window to activate windows? It is gone right now. |

Go to control panel then system. At the bottom of the page it should say Windows activation if it has a key in, make sure it is the right one. If an error has been made putting the serial in, than try to change it. You are allowed a few hardware installs though. |
