From time to time between shutoff of my computer, my clock loses the right time,my sound card drivers are lost and my brightness settings are to low and I have to re-set all.Any Ideas? Maybe my motherboard battery is going bad ! I don't know please advise.
Matt.

Losing the time is usually a case of the battery going. Try that first, it is probably even making your motherboard pick the native graphic driver as it's forgetting the settings. Vent still works too :P not seen you around in ages.

I did have a PC once that had the same issues, and it turned out to not be the battery.
Never could figure out what was the cause and eventually replaced the motherboard.
Then all was well again.

Hopefully Ren is correct as that is an easy fix and is also the best thing to try first.
