Well it is time to start my search for new parts. I'm always looking for the next best piece of gear that will let me OC to the bitter end.
my EVGA x58 classified socket 1366 & i7 920 are well past the phase out from Intel.

so with the new socket 2011 in full swing, has anyone made the jump to this yet? if so how tight are the memory dimms to the socket? I am concerned my current heat sync is tooooo big to fit between everything I see on the pictures.

here is the beast I've been looking at thoughts and suggestions?

AMD guy here so can't help you much however, I haven't had any problems with the new 8 core CPU...
