ran across a goofy one tonight.

Steam would not run and was screaming it had a compatibility issue.
to fix it I found if you right click on steam, properties, compatibility mode, at the bottom click on all users. and uncheck "compatibility mode" this made it work. this happened immediately after a windows update

I'm running win 7 64 bit ultimate.

I'm not sure which one of the updates did it but here's the list of what was auto updated.
