I've been keeping an eye on this game since I heard about it sometime during this summer. I found out the developers of this game came from Infinity Ward, the team that makes the Modern Warfare series. I assume a group of IW's developers got sick of Activision not letting them really take Call of Duty to the next step and just left. Any-whoo, I've talked to my Dad about this, and he's looking forward to it, as am I. I think it might really bring a unique touch to the FPS genre, because it needs it badly. My main concern is how far the game play really drifts from Call of Duty, because I can clearly see in this demo that there is still a lot of CoD gameplay in it. The weapons appear to have zero recoil, and the pace appears arcadishly fast. My other concern is that the maps will also be like Call of Duty. None of the maps they've shown so far appear to have any kind of vast landscape, which would make fighting with the titans that much less interesting. So I'm hoping there is a lot more to these maps, and they are at least the size of a Battlefield map. If not, then I fear this game is just Call of Duty with robots. I am also hoping for more than the gamemodes we have confirmed, which are domination-based and team deathmatch-based. A game like this really has the potential to have more objective/assault/defend-based modes, where one team defends their base and one attacks, using a series of objectives to push the defenders back until victory, and promote some cooperative teamwork to win. |

YES! So stoked about this game! Another point worth mentioning is that this game is built from the ground up as a Multiplayer game. There's will be ZERO single player element to it which I personally love. |
