I am constantly having trouble when trying to logon to a server on the server list. Usually as soon as I click to logon I get a black screen and the computer freezes. Sometimes with no text on the screen, sometimes with "Awaiting connection...1" frozen on the screen. There are even times when I get through the downloading of new maps and then the damn things freezes. Has anyone else had this problem? If so, what did you do to resolve it? This is really frustrating the s*** out of me.

2 common problems that I know of the first is sound,there is a patch due out any time that will fix this. I think it is for vista though. Another cause I read was having the disc in the pc and starting multiplayer for some reason. Only thing I would suggest is update sound and graphics drivers first. Also try turning the sound quality down in options, this has been a problem throughout all the COD series. |
