Someone I know told me the original projected release date for GW2 was November 2, 2009, but he said that it'll get pushed back, though he doesn't know how far. He said at the latest, it'll be released April/May/June of next year, although he was betting on a release date around January. If I get any more info, I'll let you all know ;)

GW themselves said last year, they did not expect it to go beta in 2009 more like 2010.It will be ready when it is. that is the official statement.

That would be nice if was released earlier. :) I am looking forward to playing the game. :)

Hopefully we will hear of a release date soon.

Yeah, I've been waiting for this, sounds like it'll be a fun game, even though they are changing some things. :D
