Well, I took the plunge and got it. I've created a couple of characters so far on Israphel, one scout "Ishika" (which I enjoyed during beta), and a mage "Katina". They're fairly plain though, I might get more adventuresome in the future. How do you take screenies?

Oh man.. We were on that server for beta. It had TONS of hardware issues. Hopefully they get it all workedo out for you.

Those screenshots were simply taken via prt scrn and pasted into paint and cropped out.

I was able to create a char on Zikel and I have one on the same one as Crazyspinner....but you are only allowed to create 2 chars i guess for prerelease?

Ah...no I was not going to log out...since it took me 1/2 hour to log in too ;)

That was fun tonight :) ....though I did stay on a bit longer and get to lvl 9 ;)

I have to close tomorrow so if I get to play it will probably be late :|

Lvl 9. ;)

That was fun. :) I am liking the game so far.

I haven't messed around with the chain skills too much, but they look fun.

Well, I've pretty much been playing non-stop since Early Release. I never once logged out (Though I took a couple of 2 hour cat naps).

This game is tremendous! But yea, queues are geigh.... Thankfully I never had to deal with it but I will tomorrow. They're supposedly addressing it.

What have you heard about them addressing it? The only thing I've heard is they're adding one more server each to both the American and European areas.

I can understand someone not wanting to log out for an hour or so, but I bet there are some that "set up shop" and take off for whatever reason then come back on many hours later. My son woke up early, so hence I was woken up. Thought I get an hour in and while I was in there, I would be willing to say about half if not more of the players on were sitting on their little stools. It's those people that are screwing up the queuing.

On a more pleasant note...I'm really enjoying it as well. I'm slowing learning the little quirks and how to best use the skills I have. I had a good time with Waterboy and CG the other night, thanks.

Oh man... It's MUCH worse than that. If you set up a private store, it doesn't log you out for 24 hours!

As for what I've heard about them fixing it... Besides adding more servers, they're looking into reducing the amount of time on private stores considerably. Also, they will be looking at upping the cap for all servers.

Really, I can kind of see the logic behind what they're doing. By setting a low cap at initial release, they kind of help balance out all of the servers (Which is VERY important for a PvP scentric game) but boy did they screw the pooch on this. The cap should've been much higher from the beginning obviously because ALL servers are either high to full population already.

I have been waiting at least 15 minutes each evening to get in.

I am really liking the game so far. I was trying to take some screenshots with "printscreen" and paste it in paint....all I get is a black screen. :|

Crazy and Water, did you guys pick your professions (not sure what they are called)..but tailoring etc?

Well, I've started the tailoring one, but will check out the other ones before I make my final decision. To be honest I haven't really looked into what all the available ones are. I saw a video cast that indicated you could get to pretty high levels of (I think) 4 different crafts, but could only become a master at one. I personally like being a jack-of-all-trades myself. :)
