Need a little more info. Is it in SP or MP. Your game settings could have something to do with it.

Welcome to the family. It's frustrating because I really want to game with you guys but there's nothing I can do; My crashes are on Treyarch's side, and so far nothing has been done to fix it.

I'm running 2 nvida 8800 GT extreme overclocked cards and I have no issues (so far only have about 5 hours of online play right now). I did just recently rebuild my machine from scratch. I've read that directX is VERY flaky. sometimes even a complete remove and reinstall doesn't clean up issues. although the 2nd\3rd time is the charm. I know it's like the IT dude telling you to reboot 3 times cuz they "say so" like episode 1 here . but i'v seen it first hand. keep messing with directX. also just for added info i'm running nvidea video drivers downloaded right from their site revision # 8.17.12.6089 released on 10/8/2010. do you have anymore details on the trouble? and your hardware?

oh yeah one more thing if you have ONLY 1 GPU . do this from the console in game "/r_multiGpu 0" with out the quotes. multi gpu is turned on by default this has caused lots of troubles for crashing. give that a whorl and lets us know! :D

if you only have one card open up black ops push you tilde key "~" this will give you the console then type "/r_multiGpu 0" everything without the quotes of course. then push enter. and give that a whorl for a bit. let us know how the game play is.
