:: View topic - Still Fighting- per Ultra

I have lost over 80lbs in the past few months, (I weigh less than I did as a freshman in highschool, lol).
Several Doctors still have Not been able to figure anything out.
However they are willing to keep testing as long as I keep breathing.
So, I will be doing further testswith multiple doctors, specialists, witchdoctors, shamans, etc., in an effort to find out what's wrong & if/how we can beat it.

I would like to thank all of my friends that I've made here over the years for all of your support, kind words, pm's, prayers, thoughts & posts.

Please keep me in your thoughts & prayers.

Ultra, thanks for the pep talk!!! You lit a fire under my @$$ & helped motivate me to keep on fighting!! Thank you!!

Also, I'm sorry for posting something so negative in the forums. I will try to make sure my posts are more positive in the future.
I'm also sorry if I upset or shocked anyone by posting my situation & my fears. I really was just trying to share my feelings & get support from all of my uZa family & friends.

I really feel terrible right now. I feel so sad and so disappointed in myself that I let the ever more demanding routine of life get in the way of making the time to be there for you like I once was. All I can say is that you have been more a friend to me than I've been to you, Gene and that you have affected my life in a far more possitive way than I could ever have done for you. I thank you for this. I'll keep praying for you and your family. I am truely sorry for being an ass.

Don’t apologize; there are times when we have all given up on life. When I have given up in the past, my friends and church family never did, and because of them and God’s Grace I am still here. On my own strength I was GONE! You are going through some VERY tough times and it is completely understandable to feel the way you do. I am sure none of us can truly imagine what you are going through, but our hearts do ache for you. Like I stated before, when you feel like you can’t fight anymore, know we are here fighting with you down on our knees and in our thoughts. When you can’t hold them in any longer, never be afraid to share negative thoughts. We are always willing to listen and help to the best of our abilities. We love you bro!

Gene, there is no need to apologize, my friend. You have every right to feel down from time to time. I am sure that your battle takes a lot out of you physically and emotionally. I'm not sure I could have fought it as well as you have. Like others have stated here, I am more than a little happy that you are continuing the fight. Just think of this message as my "virtual hug. " (A manly hug, of course, you know, not one of those kind that.....oh nevermind, you know what I mean).

I'm glad you are still fighting. Just remember keep your faith. God says he will never give us more than we can handle. And if it is hard just lean on him and your family and your uza family. You are always in our prayers.
