Well I'm happy to hear that you are still with us. Stop by ventrilo some night while we're on and holler at us.

You guys know how much I like to play with words. Tonight one of my volunteers and I were batting around ideas for some song spoofs to take a humorous poke at my republican opponent in the election, Eric Cantor. We settled on two songs from the movie "Oh Brother, Where Art Thou?" I took "Man of Constant Sorrow" and the volunteer took "In the jailhouse Now." We are going to have some local musicians record it and start trying to get playing time on local stations. here are the lyrics I camp up with. You should go to YouTube and type in "Man of Constant Sorrow" and listen to it as you read the lyrics. You'll see how well they flow. A Man of Spend and Borrow I am a man of spend and borrow It all seems like a haze I bid farewell to the Constitution It has seen better days It has seen better days For ten long years I’ve been in Congress I don’t plan to go away For with this job I gain more power You can bet I plan to stay You can bet he plans to stay I seldom talk with my own voters They don’t expect to see me again ‘cause I am bound for another fund-raiser From raising cash I can’t refrain From raising cash he can’t refrain You may call me, but I won’t answer For many years it’s been this way And you should know that I won’t bother Unless my job I’m trying to save Unless his job he’s trying save Constituents think I’m a stranger Town Hall meetings I so abhor But there’s one promise that is given I’ll do what’s best for me, for sure He’ll do what’s best for him for sure

Overall a good video, although I think the music was a bit loud. It tended to overrun your message at times. Nonetheless, I'd still vote for you if I lived there. Oddly enough, I have yet to hear of any candidates here in Indiana with the balls to stand up for what is right the way you are. Good luck my friend...
