Post subject:  My first radio interview

I just thought you all would like to know that I have my first radio interview scheduled. Doc Thompson of 1140AM WRVA here in Richmond will interview me on his afternoon show (3-6 p.m. M-F). My interview is scheduled for Tuesday March 30 @ 4:00 p.m. EST. If you care to listen you can do so on your computer by going to - http://www.wrva.com/main.html - and clicking on the live streaming. I hope I don't look too fat on the radio. I hear it adds 10 pounds to you.

Good luck Cynic... Any chance you can get a bootleg copy of the interview for those of us who can't be listening at that time??? And like Mr. Baker said, there should be plenty of openings in D.C come November...

Hmmm, I don't know HTR. Is it possible to record the streaming audio onto one's computer? If I can do that I might be able to send along an audio file, but I'm not sure how to do that. Any suggestions?

I've used a program called Free Hi-Q Recorder in the past... It basically saves anything going through your PC speakers to a MP3 or WAV file, although it can be a bit cumbersome in it's setup (lots of options)... As of right now, I should be either sitting on a beach or touring Seaworld during your show... Although Mrs. Redneck is still looking into other options... I told her she has to have the plans finalized by Saturday (the day we are planning on leaving)...

Well, I'll see if I can come up with something, but I'm not the techno-geek some of you are and I'm not sure I know how to do that.

I hope you and Mrs. HTR have a relaxing vacation. Enjoy! n7
