I only drink coffee ocassionally, and it's always Starbucks. My wife drinks a cup every morning. I don't know what brand she buys, but I love the smell of the coffee brewing. The two greatest smells in the morning are coffee or bacon. |

I will buy Presidents Choice some times their Sumatra Black. I take it black, or a table spoon or two of cream in it, no sugar. |

I don't care for Starbucks - they burn their beans leaving a bitter aftertaste. My preference is the Central American brews - Costa Rica in particular. There they produce a small specialty coffee called 'La Minita' [the small mine] that is produced in limited quantities. Only 23% of the beans actually end up as La Minita Tarrazu, for a yearly production of 1700 bags of the world famous coffee. All of the export and distribution of this coffee is directly handled by the Hacienda La Minita owner. La Minita is rich, sweetly bright and perfectly balanced throughout the profile. It exhibits a full body, is lightly syrupy, with dusk flower notes and continued cherry, nut and molasses notes. No need to add milk or sugar - it stands on it's own. Click HERE to read more about this amazing coffee. Once you try it you'll be hooked. |
