I know I haven't posted in quite some time, but I just wanted to let you know that we made it through the tornadoes with no major problems. There was one headed directly towards our house, but we were fortunate when it receded back into the sky and changed direction. The rest of the state is in major distress though. Most of my friends in the military have been deployed across Alabama to help with the clean up effort. Thousands of volunteers from the south are coming to the state to help with the clean up. It's really awesome the way people come together to help those in need. Just in case some of you were wondering where I've been, I have been focusing on my degree in Computer Science more than anything. I was actually elected president of the ACM (Association for Computing Machinery) at the University of North Alabama today, so I'm extremely excited about that. I have a couple of years left on my degree and then I plan to get a job as a software engineer. As far as gaming goes, I still play Black Ops on 360 quite often. I miss gaming with all of you, but I'm too broke to build another computer. I'll be back one of these days. I'll try to stay in touch. Blake |

They came out of no where and really made a mark in the D2 football world. Maybe we'll have a showdown in the championship game in the next few years. Did you actually go over to the campus or were you just at the stadium? I was just wondering what an outsiders perspective of the campus is like as I've only been to maybe 5 other small D2 campuses over the years. I'm about to send you a friend request on Live also. |
