Today I got a Rottwieler.

A BIG Rotty, she weighs 125 lbs.

Female and named her Tasha.

She is about 4 yrs old and extremely mellow.

Still needs some adjusting to her new home and is on a diet as she is too fat. ;)

Nice dog, but boy she is big.

What's the difference between your rottweiler and my pomeranian?

If your rottweiler starts humping your leg let it finish.

Ah look at that tiny cute Rotty :P have fun with her, already 4? nothing younger or did you want a real mellow dog.

My neighbor 2 doors down, 3 days ago got a Rotty pup female also, its only about 4 weeks old though really cute dog, was having fun climbing on my dog.

Thanks for all the kind words.

Tasha has been adjusting really well. The first couple days she was depressed and a little nervous. She was very loyal to her family.
By the 3rd day she was starting to warm up to us. Now she is a lovable gentle giant. Tasha has been a wonderful blessing to our family.

Capt. Canada, we wanted a puppy but wanted to wait until we moved further into the country first. With a puppy we thought we would be able to train it our way. Then we got talking about how any dog can be taught, and we just need to make sure it fits our life style. After a lot of thinking and talking, my wife and I decided that an adult medium to low energy dog would be okay now. Tasha is very very mellow and low energy. She will go for jogs and walks, but gets tired fairly quick. She does get very excited about any ball, especially tennis balls. Playing ball is the only time we can get her to run, which is really just a fat dog wobbling quickly. As she loses weight, we hope to get her to the point that she can go on long hikes and do some running. It really has been great to have gotten a dog that is already house broken and know many commands. It is very obvious that the previous owners spent a lot of time with her.
