It's nice to see that everyone is still together. It's been soo long since I've been able to talk to everyone. I wanted to know what you all thought about a computer I was going to purchase. It's a laptop and I wanted to know if it would be able to run a couple of games on it? Well I was wondering if the new Battlefield coming out and new Call of duty would be able to run on this? I want to throw the good ol Cod2 on it to so basically I want to run the Call of Duty and Battlefield series on it I dont know much about the graphics card or video card. The processor can be overclocked to 2.93hz which I figured to be good but then I saw a quad core processor at 1.8 hz and that threw me off. So I just cant tell if it is a good processor and video card. I planned on puttint to 4 gig cards of ram in it |

Things are going good CG Thanks for asking. Im currently in school working my way towards a Bachelors in Criminal Justice. I'm hoping to get into a Law Enforcement Career soon after school. Till then I'm working myself to death with these 2 jobs and trying to get everything together for a career. Is everyone still around? Gomer, Dupont etc? |

looks like that PC should get ya started. The requirements for BF3 are still up in the air. but it does use the Frostbite 2.0 engine so best guess is the following: Minimum System Requirements Processor: Dual Core Memory: 2 GB Hard Drive: 15 GB for Digital Version, 10 GB for Disc Version Video Memory: 256 MB Sound Card: DirectX Compatible DirectX: 10 Keyboard and Mouse DVD Rom Drive Recommended System Requirements Processor: Quadcore Processor Memory: 4 GB Hard Drive: 15 GB for Digital Version, 10 GB for Disc Version Video Memory: 512 MB Sound Card: DirectX Compatible DirectX: 11 Keyboard and Mouse DVD Rom Drive |

Is everyone still around? Gomer, Dupont etc? Sup, man! Yeah, I remember you from way back in UO! Most of us nowadays play Bad Company 2, so getting BF3 is a good idea. You better have one hell of a laptop in mind to run that game. The graphics are absolutely stunning. And if you had to pick between BF3 and MW3, I'd personal suggest you pick BF3. There's far more to offer from that game. Gomer has stepped away from the computer for some time now on some personal business and Dupont has also been out for some time. Most of the old {uZa} from UO is either not around anymore or just doing other stuff, playing different games. Anyway, good luck in Law Enforcement! |
