Ok I've read about both BUT which one to get?

Any thoughts, suggestions? Differences between the two, system requirements? 8-)

I tried to pick BF 3 on the poll, but I keep getting this error:

"The submitted form was invalid. Try submitting again."

The poll works fine with the default boards and not the custom ones. I changed to pro- silver and it worked, it does not work in black pearl , which is what I use. Leave it with me I will ask Eagle :)

Ok... now I'm more confused than ever! I have read a crap load of reviews on BF3 like the following:

Why 1 of 5 stars for a game which received >90% in most reviews?

Because of EA's background-software "Origin", which to be honest, is nothing more than typical *spyware*.
With buying BF3, you allow publisher EA to literally collect every information which can be found on your computer, and let it be sent to EA and used by their 3rd-party partners. (!)

Yes, Origin is different from other background-software like Valve's "Steam".
Germany's biggest PC game mag "Gamestar" has commissioned a lawyer to examine the end-user licence which every BF3-player has to agree to, in order to play.
The result: EA's EULA is violating German and EU law, breaking into privacy of customers installing their purchased product.

Origin will check all your files stored on your hard disk. (ALL: Including private documents, pictures, videos, all programs including tax declaration and other 100% private applications - EVERYTHING)
And it will check your Windows registry to find out about your internet surf behaviour, which programs have been installed in the past, if there is any pirated software on your computer, and so on.

It seems there will be a workaround soon to prevent Origin from spying your computer. There is a tool called "sandboxie" which will let programs like Origin run in an isolated virtual machine. But this more like a 3rd-party-hack, not a real solution.
The only possible solution can be EA to disarm Origin from its spyware functions.

Say "no" to commercial spyware and rate BF3 with a 1-star-rating here at Amazon, to let EA hear the wake-up call.

I left off the poster on purpose. There are alot of this same complaint on possible spyware. Thoughts?

They changed how that read to this.

"We have updated the End User License Agreement of Origin, in the interests of our players to create more clarity,” EA Germany said in a statement. “Origin is not spyware. Neither do we use nor install spyware on the PCs of users.”

“We do not have access to information such as pictures, documents or personal data, which have nothing to do with the execution of the Origin program on the system of the player, neither will they be collected by us. EA takes the privacy of its users very seriously. We have taken every precaution to protect the personal and anonymous user data collected.”

I would hope so, but I'm not so quick to just take their word for it. Luckily, the new rig I just built has little info about me. I keep all that more personal stuff on my laptop. :)
