Accident or not, I think it's stupid to not have any files charged. I understand good faith and forgiveness. If he means it, which I have no reason to think he didn't, then forgive him, but that does not pardon him of his idiocy. Obvious fools who have not the right amount of respect and fear of firearms and this poor, poor girl pays the ultimate price for it.
