Ok with my bathroom redone and all of its updates completed, I took a stab at putting in wood floors in my masterbed room. It was a lot harder to do then the tile was, but I thot it came out all right, find out yourself. The bedroom is 23' X 14' at the largest portions, with prep work it took me two full days and up until almost midnight Saturday nite. I still need to clean the floor and put the rest of our bedroom furniture back into but here is the final product. :)

Thanks everyone! I was surprised how much harder this was on me physically then tiling was. We bought this house in 2000, and it was a newly constructed KB Home. I was also irratated at what I found under the padding and carpet when I ripped them out. KB Homes never cleaned the floor before laying the carpeting down. I found dust, dirt, screws, and nails lying on the subfloor  . I swept the floor 3 x's and then used our Hoover Floormate to wash n clean the subfloor before I installed the wood. I think now my wife and I should have less allergy problems now with all the dust n dirt gone. Maybe I should start to hire myself out for work, heck I could use the extra money  .

We use to do a lot of revonations....found a lot of nasty things...

The house we are in now....we ripped everything out 6 years ago..they previous owners had a few too many cats....that was a lot of work. But after that we both had less allergy problems.

The renovations never seem to end...but still worth it. :) We are renovating our kitchen upstairs/livingroom... I love the flooring you put it.

It is always nice to see what others have done. :)
