Wow! What a great time we had! I forgot to bring my son's digital camera (D'oh) so I'm counting on the other guys to post their photos of the event. I'm renting a computer at Kinko's to send this along.

It was everything I hoped it would be. Great food, great location, and good friends and clan mates. I'd like to thank all the wives for being so patient with us. :roll: They were very tolerant of us gamers getting together. Twilightgirl was on her best behavior and didn't cut or stab anyone all night. She is to be commended for her discipline. n4

While the women-folk got together and chatted about whatever it is they chat about on such ocassions, the guys talked about everything from the Clan, and gaming in general, to how best to save the country from the scourge of socialism. While we didn't solve any of the nation's problems we sure had our share of ideas on how to do it. :-* Ultra Jr. gave my son and his buddy a tour of Univeral's City Walk while the older guys visited. It was a real pleasure getting to meet Gene (Scopius), Big Vinnie and little Vinnie (Ultra and Ultra, Jr.), Tommy (Underdog), and Scott (SgtMattBaker) again. I only wish we could do it more often. The ladies were wonderful company as well, and as I noted earlier, very patient with us. I know they were probably wondering who these guys were that their husbands were going to meet.

I will close this post by simply repeating what a wonderful time I had and how fortunate I am to know and have the friends that I have made in {uZa}. m01;

It was amazing... when we all meet it seemed like we were old friends! :D
FCB- if I could I'd vote for U in a heart beat! ;) The day was way too short but well worth it. U know what mr. brightside... we maybe some "Ol' farts" but no one at CityWalk would mess with this bunch! :D

I would like to thank Ultra (Vinny) for sharing some clan history with us, U can read it in words but it is not the same. U'd "the man" Vinny! 8-)

I AGREE WITH MATTBAKER! I SPENT ALMOST 2 HOURS TRYING TO POST ONE PIC FROM THE UZAIMAGEHOST AND TRIED IMGS URLS AND GOD KNOWS WHAT BUT FINALLY HAD TO GO TO IMAGENERD.COM TO GET THE BBCODE TO WORK.
EAGLE CAN YOU PLEASE EITHER PUT A BBCODE LINE SO WE CAN COPY AND PASTE OR AT LEAST TELL US HOW TO DO THIS?

There is a "uzaimg" BBCode at the top when you are posting. That is tied directly to the uZa Image hosting site. All you need to do is:

[uzaimg]width,height,filename.ext[/uzaimg]

So I put:

and got this image from Matt's collection:



This BBCode is NOT tied to the "auto sizing" code I put in the forum, so please be kind. Matt's image was 2047px × 1532px and since I didn't want to mess up everyone's display with that huge an image, I just did the math and reduced the width and height by 75% and used those numbers instead of the real size.

The other option is to view the image on the uZa Image Hosting site, right click it, copy the URL from the "properties" dialog, and paste it here in a regular "img" BBCode...

This method is nice because it "auto sizes" the image and you can see the full version if you click on it.
