After about 5 weeks I am finally back in front of my beloved computer!
As you know, my mom fell and broke her hip in June. She spent about 9 weeks first in the hospital and then in a rehab facility until she was able to get around on a walker and could go home to finish recovering. I went and spent the last 5 weeks at her house torturing her with daily exercises, dealing with the rehab folks that came to the house twice a week, and smoking all her cigarettes. She is doing well now, off the walker and just using a cane since her leg is still a little weak and it gives her confidence. We did a "final exam" Saturday where she drove to the grocery store and did some shopping, and ran some other errands. She is getting around fine (not winning any land speed records) and I think she is good to go.
So while I had a great time as my Mom and I get along really well and enjoy each others company, I am happy to be back home and in my environment. What have I missed? Is COD7 out yet?
