As some of you know, I'm majoring in Computer Science. I've had quite a few 300 level courses now and we're getting the desire to try to come up with an idea to turn into something we can release to the public. What better way than an app? Although we've had quite a few ideas on things to try, we're always looking for more ideas to turn into something fun or useful.
Does anyone have any suggestions, wishes, or ideas of something they would like to see as an app? All input will be appreciated, and we will keep you all updated once we actually get something done.

My favorite idea for an app would probably prove to be the least popular. A program that would not allow a cell phone to be used by anyone while they are driving. No incoming calls, no outgoing calls, no texting, nothing.
Personally, I think an app like that should be built-in to every cell phone, with no way to disable it.

Honestly, I've been saying the same thing for years. I hate when people drive and talk/text. I almost got in a head on collision with an SUV the other day because the girl driving was texting and had no idea she was in my lane.

As a guy who loves creation, I'd love to see an app that allows you to visually create your own characters from a normal next-door-neighbor, to a crime-fighting super hero. That's an app I could get into.

What would be the most handy for me, is to find hiking trails hidden off the main mountain roads were there still is phone connection lol. There has been a few Hiking apps but nothing that really impressed me and nothing all that in depth.

There are so many neat apps out there, i have no idea for an app. I do like photography & cooking ones.
It will be neat to see what you all come up with. Good luck!!
