My Indian Butter Chicken
# 2 tablespoons oil # 1-1.5 kg boneless skinless chicken breast, cut in large chunks # 1/4 cup of butter # 1 small onion # 2 teaspoons garam masala # 2 teaspoons sweet paprika # 2 teaspoons ground coriander # 1 tablespoon Garlic Ginger paste # 1/2 teaspoon chili powder # 1 cinnamon stick # 6 cardamom pods, bruised # 1 (400 g) can tomato puree # 1 tablespoon sugar # 1/4 -1/3 cup plain yogurt(depending on the amount of chicken # 1/2 cup cream # 1 tablespoon lemon juice
Marinate chicken in some Tandoori if you want better color, half cook the chicken in the oil remove. Add butter , then all the spices, then the sliced onion. Return chicken back to pan. Add tomatoes and sugar simmer for 15-20 minutes Add Yogurt and Cream cook to desired thickness Enjoy with Rice and naan bread

I remembered you posting about sushi....we ate a small restaurant in Hawaii a couple times and took my sis....the best sushi I have ever had...had raw tuna and raw squid also. I have to go back now...
Capt Canada what recipe do you use for the Spicy Tomato Daal stew? We love making stew, especially in the winter.
